  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 2 black olives (for eyes)
  • 2 green olives (for beaks)
  • 2 carrot sticks (for feet)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a rolling boil. Cover and remove from heat; let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Cool and Peel: Transfer eggs to an ice bath. Once cooled, gently crack and peel under running water.
  3. Create Filling: Halve each egg lengthwise, scoop out yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Fill Egg Whites: Generously fill each egg white half with yolk mixture using a piping bag or spoon.
  5. Add Features: Cut olives for eyes and beaks; use carrot sticks for feet. Decorate each chick accordingly.
  6. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
