Description

Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars combine gooey cinnamon layers with creamy icing for a delightful treat. Perfect for breakfast or dessert, these bars are sure to impress!


Ingredients

  • For the Base Layer:

    • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    For the Cinnamon Filling:

    • ½ cup unsalted butter, very soft
    • 1 cup packed brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

    For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1-2 tablespoons milk or cream, if needed for consistency

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture without overmixing.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then top with remaining batter and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For icing, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm bars.
