  • 12 oz kielbasa, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion and slicing the kielbasa.
  2. Optional: Sauté onions in a skillet over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. In the crockpot, layer half of the pierogies at the bottom, followed by half of the kielbasa and sautéed onions if used.
  4. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with chicken broth until smooth; pour over layers.
  5. Repeat layering with remaining pierogies and kielbasa, pouring any leftover broth mixture on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until bubbly.
