Description

Easter cake mix cookie bars are a colorful, gooey treat that brighten up any celebration. These easy-to-make bars are sure to delight both kids and adults alike!


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla or lemon cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well blended; the batter may be thick.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top. A toothpick should come out clean from the center.
  6. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
