Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather tools: medium saucepan, spatula, large mixing bowl, and an 8-inch square baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  4. If desired, gently fold in sprinkles and/or nuts.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly using a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm enough to cut into squares.
