Description

Fresh herbed tuna salad is a zesty and refreshing dish, blending tender tuna with vibrant herbs for a perfect light meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz) high-quality tuna packed in olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • Optional: 1 tbsp capers

Instructions

  1. Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and flake it into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add chopped red onion and celery for crunch.
  3. Mix in mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) and lemon juice until well combined but still chunky.
  4. Gently fold in the fresh herbs.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
