Instructions
- Prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Stir until bubbly and golden.
- Once the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C), stir in the peanuts until well coated.
- Remove from heat and quickly mix in baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will foam up.
- Immediately pour onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Allow to cool completely at room temperature (about 1 hour), then break into pieces.
