- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add yogurt, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula. Be careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
