Description

Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Brown Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Creamy Caramel Sauce
  • Sea Salt Flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream unsalted butter with sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients; fold in half of the caramel sauce.
  5. Fill muffin tins two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before coring out centers.
  6. Fill each cored center with remaining caramel sauce and frost generously with buttercream, finishing with sea salt flakes.
