Instructions

  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in the raisins.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow cooling slightly before transferring to wire racks.
