Ingredients

  • Ribeye Steak
  • Sweet Onions (Vidalia or Walla Walla)
  • Beef Broth
  • Olive Oil
  • French Fries (frozen or homemade)
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  2. Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper. Sear for about 4 minutes on one side until browned.
  3. Flip the steak using tongs and cook for another 3–4 minutes for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and add sliced sweet onions. Sauté until golden brown, approximately 10 minutes.
  5. Pour in beef broth and simmer until reduced to enhance flavors.
  6. Serve the ribeye topped with caramelized onions alongside crispy fries.
